Good news! We’ve chained a few Savvy content writers to their desks for the foreseeable future and put them to work drafting new content for the SavvySMART Content Library (SSCL)! Yes, we have always written new content on a regular basis (and loaded it continuously into the SavvyAcademy Learning Management System for those subscribers), but we recently decided to kick it up a notch.
This Ain’t Your Daddy’s Upgrade Environment
Remember the good ol’ days when a software provider – say, Microsoft – would release annual updates? Remember when you had the ability to opt into those updates or not, based on your firm’s timetable or employee skill levels?
Those days are gone. Thanks to cloud-hosted platforms and subscriptions, we are on the receiving end of daily updates to the technologies we use! Just recently, Microsoft updated their application logos and ribbons, and for days, people around the world were staring at their computers thinking, “Something isn’t right.”
Change happens. Whether we like it or not.
For this reason alone, Savvy understands that we must write and release new training materials on an ongoing basis. I’ve never visited a law firm that has the resources to commit 3 to 4 people to full-time learning content creation. But at Savvy, that’s exactly what we’re doing!
Produce Aisle vs. Canned Goods
Think of Savvy’s content like the produce aisle of your grocery store: fresh, straight from the (writing) farm. Gone are the days when you could wander down the canned goods aisle of your mountain market, blow dust off the tops of the canned learning products you wanted, and take them home for good eatin’. Your law firm needs fresh content, delivered on an ongoing basis.
Give Us YOUR Priorities
So, yes. We commit significant hours to drafting new content for our law firm clients on an ongoing basis. We have a list of some of the most-utilized platforms in the legal industry and we are writing content for those applications, but we would also like youto tell us what to write! You – our clients, future clients, friends and referrals – get to set our priorities.
Follow this link to our survey (it’s just a Word fillable form) and let us know what you want. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. When you’re done, please email it to our beloved Terry: Terry@SavvyTraining.com.
What’s YOUR priority? Let us know and we’ll bump it up the list! To learn more about the SavvySMART Content Library, contact me today.
