Doug Striker

Chief Executive Officer

As a former Chief Operating Officer of a prominent law firm, Doug has extensive experience in all aspects of the legal vertical, including finance, human resources, facilities, operations and marketing. Doug earned an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver with a specialty in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Lewis and Clark College. Doug has served on several nonprofit boards in leadership positions, including with the Anti-Defamation League and Portland Mountain Rescue.

Katy Lumley

Chief of Learning Strategies

With over 14 years’ experience in the training industry, Katy has led the selection, implementation and administration of learning management systems for several major corporations and law firms. She also has experience in online, blended and face-to-face course design and development. Katy earned a Bachelor of Science from Ohio Dominican University and a Master of Science in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University.

Chief of Instructional Design

Terry was a word processing manager for a large law firm and spent several years as a Judge Pro Tempore. As a result, Terry has an intimate knowledge of the legal industry. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, Terry earned a Master of Science in Education from Capella University.

Open Positions

Savvy is seeking a Customer Success Specialist with experience administering a multi-client-facing learning management system (LMS). Duties include the following:

  • Manage and troubleshoot LMS support requests for multiple clients
  • Manage a portfolio of customers within the Customer Success team
  • Develop and maintain LMS best practices and operating procedures documentation
  • Join the Onboarding process with new customers to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Help customers leverage training programs successfully into their learning culture
  • Monitor and upload training content as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for Savvy clients, owning the relationship and surfacing topics to Savvy on behalf of the team
  • Moderate Savvy webinars and report on attendance
  • Remote position, full-time with benefits

 

Savvy Training & Consulting, Inc. offers an excellent benefits package which includes an employer contribution to medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage, and a generous paid time-off program. The salary range for this position has a base from $42,500 – $50,000, with consideration for prior experience.

  • Savvy is seeking a software content writer with hands-on experience teaching applications in legal environments. Duties include the following:

    • Subject-Matter Expert (SME) on applications used in law firms or corporate legal departments
    • Ability to write clear and accurate course materials in a variety of formats (User and Instructor Manuals, eLearning, Quizzes, Practice documents and Workbooks)
    • Some experience with Adobe Captivate desired, but not required
    • Ability to solve issues with minimal supervision and balance multiple projects
    • Remote position, full-time with benefits
