Introducing the New ILTA Denver Member-Liaison: Strengthening Legal Technology Connections in Colorado

Savvy Training is proud to have Doug Striker, CEO, as Denver, CO member-liaison.

ILTA (the International Legal Technology Association) has a long-standing tradition of supporting its members locally and internationally, through live and recorded in-person and virtual events. Many cities in the US have what is called an ILTA “member-liaison”, a person who is responsible for bringing ILTA members together and helping construct educational sessions as well as panels and round-tables for members to get together, as peers, and share their stories and learn potential new, innovative ways to address or solve issues. I am based in Denver, Colorado and am proud to be the new ILTA Member-Liaison for Denver and to serve the ILTA members in Denver, the Front Range, and the greater regional area.

In this role, my goal is simple: to help foster meaningful connections among local ILTA members while supporting the sharing of practical knowledge, real-world experiences, and emerging best practices across the legal technology community.

The Denver legal market is uniquely positioned at the intersection of innovation, growth, and collaboration. From global law firms and regional firms to corporate legal departments, consultants, and technology providers, our community benefits most when we come together to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and learn from one another’s successes — and missteps.

As Member-Liaison, I will be working closely with ILTA leadership and local volunteers to organize educational programming, networking opportunities, panel discussions, and roundtables focused on the topics that matter most to our members. These may include technology adoption, cybersecurity, knowledge management, AI and automation, training and change management, operational efficiency, and the evolving role of legal IT and operations professionals.

Whether you are new to ILTA or have been involved for many years, I encourage you to participate in upcoming Denver-area events, suggest topics or speakers, and help shape the direction of our local programming. ILTA thrives because of its members, and the strength of our local community depends on engagement, collaboration, and open dialogue.

If you are interested in getting involved, attending future events, or volunteering to support local programming, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at doug@savvytraining.com — and keep an eye on upcoming ILTA communications for event announcements.

I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming ILTA Denver event.
