Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) Desktop Application Retires on Windows 10 on June 15, 2022

Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will retire on Windows 10 on June 15, 2022. What can you do?

Heads Up From Our Esteemed Terry Aurit!

Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will retire on Windows 10 on June 15, 2022. In addition, Microsoft 365 apps and services will no longer support IE11 after August 17, 2021. After that, Microsoft 365 apps and services will be unable to connect, or have a degraded feature experience when accessed on IE11.

So, officially, you have another year to figure out what to do if you need legacy browser support in Windows 10. You can set up IE mode in Microsoft Edge if you really, really need to continue using the IE experience. But, if you can, it’s time to move to Edge or some other modern browser.

Forewarned is forearmed.
